Mood Swings and Menstral Bleeding & Lichens

by Susan

Hi, I am new to this forum. Before my tubaligation I was diagnosed with Depression. After my tubaligation I have been experiencing extreme mood swings. One day I am filled with rage, aggitation and anxiety. I feel as though I cannot control my actions or emotional outbursts. Another day I will be so depressed that it seems too overwhelming to do even the simplest task. Before my tubaligation granted I did have depressive episodes, but I never had these severe swings in mood from one extreme to another. I find myself avoiding people and dreading social events now because I can't trust myself as to how I may act.
When I have my menstral bleeding now, especially the first day I can literally sit on the toilet and blood just continually pours out of my vagina for minutes at a time. I have never had anything like this prior to my TL.
I have recently been diagnosed by my OBGYN with Lichens Simplex Chronicus. I believe that this condition is a direct result of the TL, allow me to explain. After the TL I began to experience vaginal dryness. My OBGYN commented that I must have been itching the area to develop this condition. However, I have NEVER itched the area or felt the need to itch the area. Further more I have always worn cotton underwear and loose fitting clothes. Has any one heard of women getting Lichens after a TL?

Thanks,
Susan
