Progesterone Cream?

by Susan

Thankyou Mandy for the response.
Is progesterone cream anything like using birth control pills? The reason I had the TL was because I was getting alot of bad side effects from birth control pills.
My OBGYN currenty has me using Clobetasol ointment for the Lichens symptoms, which works quite well. However, Clobetasol is a very strong medicine and you can't stay on it long term. I was supposed to use it for 8 weeks then switch to a hydrocortisone ointment. When I switched to the Hydrocortisone my Lichens symptoms came back (burning and feeling I constantly had to urinate).
I have another follow-up appointment with my OB soon. I will ask her about the mood swings and progesterone cream. She is the doctor who performed my TL, so I don't think it would make much sense to ask her if my symptoms are related to it.
I will tell you this, however, if I am told I need to go on some type of BC pill I will literally hit the roof, as the precise reason why I had my TL was to get off BC.
P.S. FYI-I have had a blood test to test my hormone levels recently and it came back normal.
Susan
