5 months Post Tubal

by

I had my tubal five months ago after the birth of my daughter. I wish I would have known about the possible side effects related to having the procedure done. I sat in my doctor's office and asked specifically if the procedure would affect my hormones and he said absolutely not. We decided to have the procedure done because we knew we did not want more children and I have always had a hard time taking any kind of birth control. Now, I am having heavy periods with bad cramping, horrible mood swings, insomnia, and headaches. I found this website by chance and realized that the TL could be causing these symptoms. I made an appointment with my doctor and tried to ask him and share with him the information and he would not listen. He cut me off and basically said that I did not know what I was talking about. He put me back on birth control (the whole reason I had the TL was so I would never have to take the stuff again), gave me Sarafem (which is another name for Prozac) for the pms, and Bextra for the cramps. I don't know what to do.

Sincerely,
Erin
