post hysterectomy

I'm looking for anyone out there who has a similar story. I had a hysterectomy,ovaries where supposed to be left. After 10 months of pure hell I have discovered that I am post menopausal. How can I find out what happened to my ovaries? Any suggestions. I'm greatful there is a site like this, when I told my obgyn I was having difficulty sleeping, emotionaly volitale, memory loss(@34?), hair loss,loss of libido, on and on . I am glad I am not alone.
