Does anyone know of the history of this car? I have turned it into an really good example now since buying it last May from an ex Fiat technician. It has had some head work done - high lift cams, gas flowing of the head, custom made stainless steel exhaust (sounds mint). It has Koni's all round, front and rear strut braces, new mintex front pads and rear shoes adjusted. NO STEREO, Electric windows, good rooflining (not sagging), front seats re-trimmed in Red curdoroy and Black vinyl (I have an original good set of these don't lite your candle). Everything electrically works. I think the car belonged to Andy Widdrington of the sporting Fiat Club scene at some time in its life(???). I've spent a fortune on it and it might be up for sale soon if the offer's good (as I have another two of them and one for spares) if anyone's interested. It's a Black one guys (and dolls)......and it's quick. New tyres on refurbed MK3 alloys. Handles really well. All receipts and documentation back to new, full service history (both Fiat and later specialist), 114,000 miles, last service by my plant fitter /mechanic using RECAMBIO parts. Drives really nice with no legendary gear crunching from the gearbox syncro's (correct oil used!!) If you're interested, drop me a line.
Keep the FAITh.......BB.
PS: Only 46 of these still recorded legally on the roads guys (according to DVLA and Fiat Club).
