I still need track control arms + rear body panel for light cluster

by steve

I'm still trying to locate track control arms for a B reg (mark 2) strada 130 and the rear panel that holds the light clusters (and bumper). I would consider cutting this off of an old car if in reasonable condition.

These parts are required by a friend to complete a total resoration project. Sadly, he doesn't have a PC to look for this stuff himself

can you help?

LOL you are not sure who i am ?
I am not sure who you are... At least use an alias if you are going to insult me !

What exactly do you mean "SEEMS SLIMY. TWO FACED BELLIGERANT, AND A TOSS POT."
I am dissapointed with the number of anonymous posts on this forum eg there are others: http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=9057&messageid=1080578148

I dont really care what you think about me, if you cant take a little jibe about wind deflectors then you should be using a forum or a PC! Wind deflectors are exceptionally hard to come by, so I think it very unlikley that you will find some this easily.. FYI I came by my spare set in a breakers yard in Italy.
I also have, new in packaging the 2 rear badges... these are also not for sale (now I really am a "TOSS POT")

I have spent a considerable amount of time collecting spares for a car that I used to run (which is a project permenently on the back burner) and these are not for sale.

I have also spent time setting up and contributing to an alternative forum http://forums.delphiforums.com/abarth/start which I set up to resolve some of the unfriendly interface issues with this forum, but only a limited number of people seem to use it. Please register and you can insult me on there too !

In the past I have invited 130TC owners (via this and my forum, admittedly quite a long time ago) to gatecrash a Lancia meeting I used to organise.

Vote for Melo

by TH130

If one reads this and the other forum they would know melo does a heck of a lot for the 130tc scene. Always informative with a sense of humour. His comment would've been very much tounge in cheek. I for one, would vote Melo for president. Hip hip hooray for melo.

melo for what?

by lenny

The idea of a strada abarth forum is to help other members keep strada on the road not be little or bragg about what you have or have not .I have never met melo but saw him once at auto italia so i cant or wont judge him . But when you post statements like he did about wind deflectors he leaves himself open to attack . th130 might say he was acting tongue in cheek i would say cheeky ba*stard more like it . I have been to melos abarth site and i much prefer this site . Is it me or is this site getting more controversal . It can only be good as weeks can go by without any new posts . Last of all , any strada abarth owners going to auto italia this weekend 2 may at brooklands .

Abarth Steering wheel query

by

Hello chaps, maybe someone can help me. I purchased this Abarth wheel ( see below ) but I have been unable to source a hub kit for it, it has the weirdest configuration of holes I've ever seen ! Its a really lovely wheel and I would love to keep it. My other option would be to drill the right holes to fit my boss which would be a shame. Any thoughts ?

RARE PARTS, HAVE TO GO!

by

Hi Guys,
I haven't been here for a long long time....hope you're all well and that the Abarths are thriving; I have been clearing out my garage and would like to get rid of some bits I still have:

4 into 1 Abarth exhaust manifold
1 Abarth Front Shock (New/Unused!!) and 2 springs (standard)
Front wheel arch trims 1 each side, 2 o/s rear wheel arch trims (one virtually brand new totally intact)

These parts must be like gold dust now, they were when I had the car 2 years ago - surely one of you guys can accomodate them?
Please someone take the job lot away for PEANUTS....(I'm talking token gestures/few pints of beer money!), or God forbid I may have to throw them away for the sake of a bit of garage space

regards
Nick (near kingston Upon Thames)

99% mint 130 tc, what is it worth?

by carl j

Hello. I own a 1985 strada abarth 130 tc and would like to know how much its worth because i'm thinking of selling it because i've brought a sapphire cossie!! Its red with the grey and black dot interior with only slight wear on the drivers bolster, its only done 50k from new fully documented, the guy i got it off had it from new so i'm the second owner, every mot from new, wind deflectors original radio nd torch still there, original un-restored body!!!!, both original keys with it, 12 months mot, 6 months tax etc etc.... The list goes on!! The only bad bit that makes it not 100% mint is that there is a bit of rust on the tail gate just under the abarth badge, about the length of the badge its self and the laquer is coming off the alloys. Please help with how much its worth. Many thanks.

strada for sale

by lenny

If its as good as you say and has all previous mots and documented history , no rust on the a posts or sills , no rust on the inner rear wings , no rust on the back panel and the rear wheel arches are solid and the doors are in rust free condition with it being such low miles i would guess anywhere from £1750 to £3000 . Its just about finding the right person whos looking for a strada at that time . Stradas with low mileage are very hard to find now . I know i gave up trying ?
