Even though I divorced 9 years ago, I still have the wedding pictures that were of my family. I sent all the ones with him or his parents, family etc to his parents.

I still have my wedding picture. Not because the marriage means anything at this point, but because it was a part of my life for a long time and it was a day I got married. It is in my hope chest. Actually my wedding dress is there also. Maybe it would make a cool halloween costume someday haha!

I agree that you need to box things up and put them away. Take them out in 5 or 10 years and then make a decision. I know it is tempting to "purge" all the contents of the relationship, but I know I would regret it if I did that.

It was a part of your life. There is no point pretending it didn't happen.
