We had a Halloween Party last night for the kids and ended up having 21 teenagers from 13 to 18. As much of the age differeces were, we all had a great time. We decorated for the last two days and set up Guitar Heroes in the basement and Kareoke in the livingroom. It was funny because at first my daughter said no one would sing but just the opposite happened. 13 of them were having the time of their lives in our small livingroom. We crammed in and the neighbors around us got a free concert!
My husband and I stayed right with them and had such a good time that we can hardly talk today. You would never know that we had that many kids in our home. We have always said that we would rather have our kids and their friends here so we open our doors and the kids respect us and our home.
It was a great night. Everyone wants us to have it again next year.

Just thought I would pass on some happy times.

Laura

Laura,

I am so happy to hear that you had a great night and that you and H had so much fun together.
Making new happy memories together is the one thing that really helps me to get over the bad thought and images. My kids are the best thing in the world to me and they make my H and I laugh so much and when we get wrapped up in them and doing things together I often forget that there is that "other" part of us where all is not so happy. It does seem that those times are happening more and more these days which is great since the 1 year anniversary of d-day 1 is coming up next month.

Thank you for sharing your happy moment with us for it is good to hear the good things as well.

Kelly
