A birthday surprise

I just wanted to pass on some happiness. Today is my birthday and my husband surprised me with the Journey necklace. He gave it to me last night with the most beautiful card that he has ever given me.
In a post a while ago I had talked about wanting one and hoped that he would get it for me. I didn't want to tell him to get it for me because I thought it should be something that he get on his own.
I started to cry because I know what this means to both of us. That we started out so young and innocent, grew together, started a family, grew apart and have come back together even stronger than when we first started out. We have been thru this amazing journey that keeps on going.
Today I also listened to the song by Alan Jackson, Remember When. I cry everytime I hear that song because it says so much that I can relate to.
Has anyone read the book by Denise Jackson? What a wonderful book.

Just thought I would pass along some happiness.
Laura

Happy Birthday Laura...

Laura writes "Today I also listened to the song by Alan Jackson, Remember When. I cry everytime I hear that song because it says so much that I can relate to."

I hear lyrics differently now too.

Another one that rings true is that Grateful Dead song that includes those haunting lyrics "what a long strange trip it's been"
