I definately read somewhere explaining about affair's that High School sweetheart type couples are vulnerable to - driven by curiosity due to lack of experiances before the marriage etc. etc.

Can't find the reference now though - anyone seen something similar and can point me in that direction?

I would also like to read up on that since me and my H are high school sweethearts.
I also believe that it can be because of the curiosity issue. We have talked about this several times.
