May this next year of your life be better than the last and worse than the many more that are yet to come. 

I did get my birthday wish, infact a double dose. Firstly my wife wasn't charged, and they decided to take no further action. The sergeant at the police station thought it was a travesty that she was even arrested, let alone having to come back for interview, but they had to follow procedures.

Secondly my wife found out that she has got a place a medical school, so she can switch career to doing somethings she's always wanted to. Also since we'll be moving out of london we might have a chance of buying a house! She's going back to the same uni we both did our degrees at (and met) so we're both looking forward to living there.
