the one with the THICK skull! You are wrong dear, I only steal YOUR hat my friend!!!
So listen.. today I was talking to this lady and she said what I want to say to you.
She was talking about her kids and who was " successful" and who wasn't. She said, success is about doing your passion and calling it work..
Yeah old man, that is what I meant on another thread about you and your future. I realize times are hard for everyone and your " knick knacks" or works of art, are a luxury. But Dave, isn't there something I don't know from this stuff, that you can do with your hands of gold and I do mean that, that would earn you a living?
I truly want you to sit down and write, and think from both your heart and hand with pen and paper. Make a list of creative stuff that you can do with your incredible talent. Anyone who can build a garage ( sure with the help of your Sunshine) can surely earn a living doing stuff that no one else can. Please share your thoughts on this topic. You can write here rather than pen and pater if you like.
It bothers me a lot that someone with your talent and gifts can't put them to use earning millions.
There has to be a way... let's brainstorm.
Much love,
El
DUH! I posted this on deeper, meant to post it here on Open. I think I've been here too long!!! My brain is mush!!!
Well...construction work is out since I tore the tendon in my arm, be it carpentry or electrical. As for thoughts...my niece is also into photography, in fact has done friends weddings and some senior pictures.
If this job offer doesn't go through then we may try to open our own business. As it stands right now, it looks like I will be getting the position, but its not a 100%...I talked to upper management guy this afternoon and was told to "Plan" on it, but he couldn't give me a definite.
If it happens I will spend the last two weeks of April and the first week of May in Kentucky and Missouri. There goes three weekends of prime time fishing...but better to lose that than my paycheck.
As for posting on Deeper instead of Open, I don't think it has anything to do with being here to long...I think we are both just reaching the "vintage" years...
