I am so sorry. I know you have often spoken of your brothers with so much love. This is a tragic loss and my heart breaks for you. I will keep your family in my prayers.
My youngest brother died in 1994 when he was 24 (suicide), and my oldest brother died less than a year later when he was 42--almost 43 (pulmonary thrombosis). I understand how much it hurts to lose a brother. My heart cries out for you.

Denise, I am so sorry for your loss. Seeing what my H went through last fall when he lost his brother, it hurts my heart to know that you are feeling a similar pain right now. I'm so sorry sweetie. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

It has been an unbelievable few days and only going to get more difficult.
He was a firefighter in the same town for almost 30 years and knew an incredible amount of people. We found out late yesterday that he died from a massive heart attack. He leaves behind an estranged wife and 21 yr old daughter.
I have one other brother in IL and the other two traveling in from out of state. Yes, I am the only girl...#4 out of 5 - he was the oldest.
My parents are numb.
Len & Chris, I am still barely breathing...I can't thank you two enough for being in chat with me at that time...you two were my lifeline.
I am hugging all of you - and feeling the hugs from you all.
It will be a full firemans funeral-that is how he'd want it to be.

My husbands Uncle was a captain with the fire department here. He had the full firemen's funeral. They are very nice. It is something for the whole family to be proud of and take comfort in the wonderful work he did.
(((((((((((((((((((Dee))))))))))))))))))...I know how painful it is to suddenly lose a sibling. I am glad you have an answer as to why, and may it answer some of your questions but I know it does not ease the pain. I am so, so sorry. You have my deepest sympathy...my heart goes out to you Sweetie.

That's how my dad died, of a massive heart attack. It's certainly easier on the person who passes, but I think it is alot harder on the family since it usually is so unexpected.
