Yeah I hear you and I will reiterate what I said earlier - people will vote their wallets and if the stock market is in a poor state and unemployment is still > 8.1% (it is actually higher than that but they fudged the numbers due to a quirk called participation rate) than Obama will have a tough time getting back in but I'm still afraid Romney won't do much better. Their may be other parts to this like demographics - we have an aging population and the boomers now have to be concerned about saving for retirement. Not a pretty picture.
