True, but he was more talented than Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcet and more normal than Michael Jackson.
Ed McMahon's talent was that he had a good laugh and a good voice to agree with Johnny Carson and to promote Publisher's Clearinghouse.
Farrah Fawcet's talent is that she was gorgeous. Girls like her would be a dime a dozen in the media these days.
Jackson was extremely talented but was also one of the most flawed stars of our era (up there with Mike Tyson and below OJ Simpson).
Mays at least was productive and got people's attention during commercials, and did not beat up prostitutes like the Slap Chop and Shamwow guy... |
