      Hold on there rainman...

The last 20 champions were running football teams?

Seriously, you been testing your daddy's weed again?
The last team that won with a strong run game was the Ravens and the run game was not the reason they won the superbowl, it was a great defense and good qb.

      Other than that...
1993 With Emmit? But Troy made that offense go
1997 With Terrel Davis?...ever heard of the qb on that team?
2000 Jamal Lewis...or did they win because of Dilfer not making mistakes and making crucial throws and a great defense?
      2001-2011...not a back worth mentioning.
Bettis is a Hall of Famer but defense and a good qb won that year.

A decent run game is needed to win, but playing Marty Ball is nothing but a waste of time in todays game, hell it didn't do much in the 80's during his

Nobody said anything about the run and shoot...
It is all about aggressive offense.
Not sitting on the ball in the second half because you have a 10 point lead.
You put your foot on the throat when they are down and you keep there until the last seconds tick away.

As far as the Steelers vs Bengals draft...
That is a debate that is like p!ssing in the fan, nobody wins.
Of course a second tier player on the Steelers is going to seem like a better player because he is playing on a team that has been to a few SuperBowls lately and everyone is over hyped.
Take a guy like Fanene..7th round pick, worked his azz off and became a pretty solid player, if he did that in Pittsburgh he would be a house hold name.
      Same with Peko and Rucker..

I look at Pittsburgh and there have missed on db's more than the Bengals have missed on linebackers.
And if you are saying Mundy is good, then you need your head examined.
That guy is good when surrounded by great players, but when other players like Troy are out, he is exposed more than anyone in the game.
The Bengals have had some mind blowing drafts, and not in a good way.
      08 was another embarrassing effort.
