Seriously, if the knee sucks, they can cut him.

I see no reason why we cant give this dude a try out.

Hmmmmmmm--I wonder why. The guy is the worst starting center in the league. After saying that, there's no way in hell that I would give Bentley a shot. Too risky. No thanks.

He is a risk. Sign him cheap and then cut his azz if he doesn't pan out.

Jesus, he passed a physical and a conditioning test. That is more than half of our roster can do...

Guichiuc is going to be fine, it takes some time to get the mental part of the game down. Last winter I ran into Rich Braham at work and he has a lot of confidence that Guichiuc will come around, he pointed out that it took him some time to get the position down and he was a guard for several years before that.

Bronco, I look at it like this:

The Browns paid the guy the highest contract ever for an NFL center at the time, I believe. If it wasn't the highest, it was damn close. Then he injured himself on the first day of practice, then he rehabbed. Then they cut him. If he was really worth anything, would they have cut him after waiting so long for him to get better?

I dunno man. I'd love to get him if he's worth anything, but I have my doubts about that since the Browns let him go in the first place. Do you know how much he was due to make this year? How much did they save by cutting him?

I hear you though, in a way. What could bringing him in for a tryout hurt if he already passed his physical? I just have a hard time believing the Browns would let him go if he was worth anything at all, but I don't know the cap ramificiations either. Patellar tendon tears are tough to come back from, so just the fact that he passed the physical is a good sign, maybe?

Storm, I hope Braham is right. I'm not ready to give up on Bluto yet, but this is his last chance, imo.
