league manager in nfl.com free fantasy has no power that I am aware of. All I can do is set the draft date and style, do the password, etc. I don't have any authority over trades, adds, drops, or membership in the league.

Draft is two weeks out, we still need 4 players... hard to believe.

Also, is anybody gonna set up the pick-em?

Belko - I did not look at the set up but do I have to be on line for the draft? Or can I chose what positions I favor? I am going to be on vacation in North and South Carolina starting next week and not sure if I will have time to draft.

Yes, and that's why I moved. There wasn't an internet connection to be heard of in any of those two states. Only NECKCAR and a whole lot of battle flags over the state capitols.

T.. the set up is relatively flexible. Go online and rank your players. If you are not online when the draft happens the computer will pick for you based on how you rank them. Benefit of being live is that you can get all excited and mess yourself up and take em out of order. Everybody who is in should rank their players, anybody that does not make the live draft will still be o.k.

T...   just rank your players and your picks will be made automaticly.  If you accidently get 3 stud running backs I'll trade you my kicker.

Belko thanks - I will gladly trade 3 stud RB for a kicker....because according to Tressell...Special Teams is the difference maker.

 

btw  - Dunn - are you still down in the RDU area? I am travelling from DFW to RDU next Tuesday night with the family. Then returning the following Wednesday sometime during the afternoon by myself. My in laws live in Pinehurst, so they will be taking me back - but let me know if you are around.

We got 10 of 12 players to start need two more ASAP. As draft is next tuesday.

Cant we try again? The season hasnt started yet.

If folks want to try this again I'll start it again. A couple of questions.

Do folks prefer a live or automated draft? (note if you can't make the live draft you can slot your players and they will be chosen automatically).

If we go for a live draft, I'm gonna draft during a week day because I don't generally get on the computer nights and weekends. So is there a favored day/time (use eastern time). For a live draft?

11th, 12th, and 15th all look good for me.

Dunner - just returned. I had left before I got your message and did not get on the site while I was down there. We spent a few days at Mrytle Beach...will never do that again...unless I am single....

I got an early start out of RDU anyway so i could get back. I have to return in a week or so to get my oldest son from his g-parents so maybe then.
