What a game.If someone told me the bungals would go to overtime against the giants I would have been calling to have them committed. Anyway the sheople will pack the stands next week waiting to see a duplicate performance.

Offensive line:

Eric Ghiaciuc – this guy has to be one of the worst centers in the league.

Levi Jones – How many times did I see his man get around him and hit Palmer.

Offense:

Palmer – played a good game considering he had to run for his life a lot.

Chatman – Hate to say it but he contributed about the most besides TJ.

Chris Perry – Better RB the Rudi ever dreamed of being.

Play calling actually looked better to me this week. A lot more screens and short passing plays. This gave Palmer a chance to move the ball and not rely on that piss poor offensive line. Old Drunkowski although got back to peak form in OT running the ball up the middle on the first two plays.

Defense:

Personally I think this group of misfits probably played the best game they ever will together on the field. I question the nickel package at the end of the fourth quarter and letting the RB have his way up the field.

CB’S – Castille and Jones were lucky they weren’t burnt more often.

Peko – one of the only constants on defense.

Gathers – Played a good game.

Did a fairly good job through three and a half quarters stopping the run with everyone in the box. Prevent a win nickel package came through in the end however with 5 minutes left.

 

 

Huh? Do my eyes deceive me, or did you toss bouquets to practically half the team?! Okay... who are you and what have you done with our Fulcher?

But I do know what you mean. That looked like a pretty good effort on Sunday. If not for the context, it might actually be tempting to use the H-word.

Good game, bad coaching and the problems that this team have are not going away any time soon.
