BYE BYE BRATKOWSKI

Let me get this straight. On the final game tying drive in the 4th quarter, Carson goes 7 for 7 for 79 yards and a TD to tie the game on the road. The Giants receive in OT and attack via the passing game. Ultimately, they punt.
Upon receipt of the ball, with the Giants secondary on their heels and the O line actually showing some protection, what does Bratkowski do-run on 1st and 2nd down. Perry was averaging 3 yards or so per carry after the 25 yard TD run.
The offense should have attacked and gone to the air to move the ball down the field for the winning field goal. Beyond formations I can read to determine whether our team is going to run or pass, what the F%$& was Bratkowski thinking on the road at the World Champs house in overtime. Moreover, why didn't the Head Coach overrule him.
Bratkowski's stupid calls cost them the game. His offense is stale and teams know what we are going to do on nearly every play.

I am losing my mind over the level ineptness I am witnessing from highly paid "professionals".

You should be. What's worse is that Brat has been the worst coordinator in the NFL for YEARS (2005 included). Almost all of us on here have been calling for his head since he was hired on. Obviously, Mike Brown hired him because he was cheap. What's worse is when Marvin resigns at the end of the year--Drunkowski's going to be strongly looked at as HC. LMMFAO.

That's a real hoot. Let the good times roll.

While I of course was glad to see them lose - I was kinda hoping they would of just went for it when they were at the 2 yard line at the end of regulation instead of going for the FG. NFL OT is such a crapshoot anyway......but these are the bungles.

I have always said he sucks and know that he is the worst playcaller in the entire NFL. I didn't get to see the game so I can not comment on what took place. However, I like to see them running the ball more.

McCalister's Blog....

"with the way we were moving the ball on the ground, we felt like we were getting four a pop. We tried to get eight the first two with two runs to get us to third and two and have the chance to run the ball again for a first down or throw it. Unfortunately, we weren't able to move the ball, and then on third down I didn't throw a good enough pass to TJ"-Palmer

Reality of the situation
On their final 10 carries of regulation the Bengals gained 9 yards...including losing yards on four of those carries.
After Perry ran 8 times for 54 yards in the first half....he ran 12 times for 20 yards in the second half.
As a team:
10 carries 69 yards first half
17 carries 33 yards second half
