How is that calling out Mike Brown?

I read that he was pointing the figner at someone else, that is giving Brown bad info?

But I know, the facts get in the way of your opinion and it is not as fun to see the real picture.
lol!

man is not free unless government is limited. There's a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.

"Anderson resisted throwing jabs at the Bengals. But he did say the same pipeline that he said fed Brown bad information about him has been feeding him inaccurate information about players for many years.

"People in the organization continue to mislead him about players," Anderson said, though he would not elaborate."

Who is he talking about?

Regardless Murf, if you believe that statement, then its readily apparent that Mikey can't make decisions for himself or has no clue how to evaluate players.

You cant have it both ways...

"I was mad at Mr. (Mike) Brown when he made the decision"

...murf ask Mikey for a loan to get a G.E.D. and learn how to read.

murf loves Mike Brown, the only question is why he would choose to spend time on a site dedicated to bashing the man. Only a moron who loves confrontation and constant belittlement would do such a thing...

Every player that escapes here usually bad-mouths the organization. Can they all be wrong? I think not, every player knows you come to Cincy to collect some dough and give a half-azzed effort. With some luck they'll sign you to a long term deal with up-front money. Then you can dog-it or get "injured", get released and get a job with a real team and earn your check in the last few years of your career as you realized you pissed away your good years half-azzing it with a bunch of half-azzes.

Very interesting, might be a case where there is some inside backstabbing between the family squabbling over control, makes me wonder if Mike Brown is mentally competent and I wonder if he is being taken advantage of by them? Sure is strange how no one else in the family has come to his defense in what may be the biggest bashing attempt by the fans, maybe they are happy he is taking the abuse for their wrongdoings?

"He has played in nine of 11 games, with six starts, for the Ravens. He didn't play Nov. 16 against the Giants because his ankle was rolled in the third quarter Nov. 9 against Houston.

Anderson also did not play in the season opener, just days after he signed with the Ravens. He was in shorts on the sideline at M&T Bank Stadium, where the Bengals lost 17-10 Sept. 7.

"Tears welled up in my eyes when I walked on that field to see the (Bengals)," Anderson said. "Just the week before, I was with them."

He was headed to the Ravens' facility in Owings Mills, Md., Tuesday for a workout and film study.

"Until we touch down (at the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International) airport on Saturday, it's another regular week for me," Anderson said. "I'm sure some emotions are going to come about when we land. I've never stood on the other side of that (Paul Brown) stadium. I've never come through the visitor's tunnel.

"I follow the Bengals and root for them every week, but I won't be rooting for them this week.""

1. Big Willie actually wants to come back from injury to play for the Ravens. Where as--he would have probably sit out the whole entire season from this type of injury in Cincinnati. The desire to play just wasn't there. Somehow, he's got the desire back when he switched teams. I wonder why Murf?

2. Great--another player with an incentive to beat the sh*t out of the Bungles.

Murf--you are nutz or you are illerate. That whole article had the air about Bungle and MFB Bashing. He didn't actually come out and say it--but if you read between the lines, you can tell he has a real disdain for the guy. It's just that Willie is too professional to come out and bash his ole owner.

It is interesting to speculate.

Whatever the case, nothing with Mike Brown listed as the man in charge has ever worked. If he was being manipulated by family members, he could easily sell the team tomorrow and spare himself the anguish.

If he's being "manipulated" or there is an "internal tug of war" so to speak, one has to wonder who falls where on the "bringing in people from the outside" debate. This is an organization whose football operations is in a dire need of overhaul-- i.e. it's not just about adding scouts, staff, it's also about acknowledging that a lot of people gotta go. Perhaps some of the people that know that those people could be them try to stay in Mikey's here to prevent it from happening.

Of course it's all speculation. But Willie's overall point stands: crap decisions are being made constantly in Bungleland and it's not by accident.

I have said for years that theres no way some of their decisions were accidental or bad luck, just too many questionable decisions to chalk up as pure incompetence.

One of my favorite Dunn posts....

everyone here is spot on (except Murf, goes without saying). Dunn always started good threads on the most minimalist material.

It points out perfectly why the Bungs will fail: Mike Brown. Who else would have ignored the O-Line in the offseason after your O-line not only sucked, but lost Willie in the offseason and then lost 2 starters in FA. Murf will argue addition by subtraction (yeah, new unlogical math!) but all that says to me is that your coaches and scouts cannot evaluate talent, because if you already had better guys on the team you should have been playing them anyway.

Carson palmer could be a great QB, but not without good protection. He is a pure pocket passer. I sure hope we hit a home run in the draft, but with only 3 scouts employed and the Brown-hole's draft history, I just don't see it happening.

"We do do, and we do it at a very, very high level," Lewis said.

....just look at our record since Mikey took over. What else needs to be said? If you don't get it from just looking at the record, you're never going to get it...

Just look at the back of their baseball card, the old saying goes, "the back of a baseball card doesn't lie"
