Actually, I don't think it'd be the worst move in the world to bring Washington back provided you were paying him for what he was: an occasional spot receiver who played a role on special teams. Knowing Mikey, he'd sign him to Neil O'Donnell 1997-8 contract money and tout his respect for what's he accomplished.....

I think it would be a good idea to re sign K Wash, as a matter of fact they should send all their players to different teams to get competent coaching and then re sign them later.

He was in NY today talking with the Jets.
BTW, I would love to share with all of you how great it is to hear Boomer every morning, and catch his MSG show every so often at night.

He also said that Bengals president Mike Brown, along with Lewis, is concerned with the club-record list of players on injured reserve this past season and the team plans to examine the issue.

The article says KW has caught one pass in two years. This is what he's accomplished as a member of the New England Patriots, the most pass-happy team in recent memory? We better sign him quick before Detroit scoops him up!

Typical Mike Brown Signing.

I'm sure I remember the Bengals bringing back this other wide receiver a few years after he left. Might have been in 2002, but I can't find any records of it after a quick search. He must have been cut soon thereafter.
Letting a guy go because (in part) you don't like his attitude. Then bringing him back because he's available? Like with Dunn, it would just be a waste of time and effort.
