Andrews leaving was only to be expected (to Philadelphia with his brother), but I thought the Bengals might decide to keep Fitzpatrick (now in Buffalo). He's one of those quarterbacks that Mike Brown favored, and he knows the offense. But it's not really a surprise. He probably fits the Bills offense pretty well.
We know TJ will be gone soon, and I'm still sure another team will make a better offer to Cedric Benson. I suppose I should be thankful that they re-signed Crocker, the only offseason move that seemed realistic to hope for.

I was in favour of the Bengals giving Fitz a shot to ease the burden on Carson and to see if some more mobility would help. It didn't, he stunk for the most part, but the team was in the $#!++er any way. No harm, no foul. Best of luck to him 'cause if he gets called to start there, I think he'll get his a$$ kicked.

Have the bungals done one thing to improve this off season yet? Its early....but my opinion is they have done more harm than good. Not that I mind...I enjoy the losing.

Mikey, Lippy, and the Duke have some big surprises up their sleeve for the draft. LMAO this hot-mess is getting worse, and I didn't think it was possible.

The Eagles are nuts for giving Andrews a 7 million a year contract....and we are better b/c Fitzpatrick is gone.......
We did ink Crocker and Dorsey....that was a kid thing.
Walsh said his review looked at 20 allegations of abuse, 14 of which were substantiated, but he did not go into details. Generally he said the abuse ranged from "gestures, comments, disrespect" to "preemptive use of pepper spray."

Well shucks! My guess is he was here long enough to eat a cheese coney (donated) and listen to MikeyBoy give him a spiel about how he could become part of an exciting rebuilding effort in the Nati. Then MikeyBoy sprung the big coup de gras by offering him $1,000.00 per game and a loose leaf notebook (also donated). The only other reason to stop in Cinci would be if the plane needed refueling. Could this be the shortest FA visit in the history of the NFL?

Cincinnati is the only NFL city where Free Agency is truely "free", because block-head sure as hell wouldn't spend anything. This has got to be the most horrific offseason in history, even Mikeyboy has outdone himself.

The Ward scenario was discouraging on two fronts: a) the team was reported to be "serious" about recruiting this guy and yet the effort lasted the length of a cup of coffee, b) with Ward and Benson (soon to be) out of the picture, the chances of the Bengals spending their first round pick on a running back goes up. Not that I'm opposed to the Bengals drafting a running back in, say, Round 3, but defensive pressure and quarterback protection need to be priorities 1 & 2.

I think I heard the same thing last year--that is, until Utecht was signed. LMAO. That also reminds me, AMM--you need a nickname (but I hardly ever see him on here these days). I've been pondering. Any ideas fellas?

I think I saw someone else on here say that Utecht was too fragile to play in the AFC North. I couldn't agree more. Maybe we should petition Roger Goodell to put the Nati in the AFC West....
Thinking about all the Bungs who are jumping ship like rats from a Thai frigate I'm wondering.....if Bratkowski couldn't get a first down last year how the heck will he do it this year? The Bengals need to take the money they've saved being so timid and frugal and buy every defensive player 2 or 3 tanks of Oxygen because they'll be on the field 70% of the time this year.

Turd, you're simply wrong. The Hole is a laughingstock but he's been willing to spend on free agents.
The issue is...free agents are by definition free. They don't have to join a loser of an organization. It makes more career sense for them to take the same money elsewhere....and sometimes to take even less money elsewhere.
