How in the world is Chris Perry still on the team? His only positive was getting benched because he couldn't fumble away the ball and hurt the team there. He is still on the roster and I can see zero reasons to justify it. He can't stay healthy or hang onto the football which prevent the Bengals from winning. They refuse to cut dead weight and sign players who would be hungry to play and prove themselves.

You can only play in 22 games in four years and then hit the field and fumble six times in five games (I am not certain of this stat but believe its close) and you are still on the team. I could name six or seven players just like him the last few years. Please cut people and your team improves immediately. Our starting lineup is set in stone and it shows. How bout a little competition this year?

"He is still on the roster and I can see zero reasons to justify it."
You just have to see things through brown-hole's eyes to see the justification.
If he hangs onto guys like Perry and Levi now, he can throw out the claim that "the Bengals are spending at cap and so cannot add any more FAs." Then later, he can cut the players and pocket that money. By that point there will be noone of value available so he won't have to deal with fans complaining about him not spending the money to improve the team.

LOL. Synonymous that's the best, albeit convoluted, string of MikeyBoy logic I've heard in a great while. Don't forget the part where GeoffyBoy parrots an article about how Mikey is really broke because of some hidden contract language and because it rained three Tuesdays in a row on a farm in Wisconsin on a day the scarecrow was facing east.

Whit, if Chris Perry were one of those questionable-character guys, I would also want him outta here immediately. Since he's not, I'm willing to see if he can get over that awful case of fumble-itis. I don't believe he ever had that problem before last season. Three long years recovering from injuries could have been the cause.
He has enough skills to be a better version of Kenny Watson. In other words, a decent backup. So I say bring Perry to training camp, and if he gets injured (again) or still can't hold on to the ball, cut him. There is still a slight chance, however minute, that he could be a nice role player for the Bungs.
