I haven't talked to him. I haven't talked to anybody that has talked to him. He wasn't here last year so I'm expecting him not to be here at all this year.

I'd love to see Chad get a clue. I believe he'll start wanting to play football again once training camp is almost over but by then he'll be so far behind everyone he might not even start. So what then? OchoStinko on the bench wallowing in self-pity and throwing little hissy fits? Mugging for the cameras and whining like a little girl so he can repeat his battle of wills with MikeyBoy? This crap almost makes me wish Brett Favre would make another come back.

I'm just relieved we didn't trade this guy.... we sure taught him a lesson.

Does anyone not think the reason Chad is still on the team is just because Mike Brown is stubborn? I can't remember what Washington offered for him last year but at this point I wish the Bengals would have taken the offer. When your team wins 4 games and you have your worst individual season ever it seems prudent to get yourself to every OTA you can and work yourself back into a good partnership with the guy who will be throwing you the ball. Doing what he's doing now makes me think he doesn't appreciate the fact he's living a dream. He gets paid millions of dollars to play a game and he is clearly taking it for granted.
Ok I'll get of my high horse now...

Mikey is with Chad where that person gets to in Deal or No Deal where they turn down a good deal even though they only have one briefcase left...then that briefcase instantly gets taken off the board. At that point, even though it's all minutiae, the person just keeps going until the end to find out what was in their briefcase since taking a deal from that point forward isn't even worth the time and bother.
Sorry, that analogy probably didn't work for anyone who's never watched that show.
But anyhow, Mikey wanted to prove a point to Chad. He wanted to prove a point to the league. Be insolent with me and pay the price. In proving this point, he turned down a very good deal. He's not likely to get a deal that good again. So even a deal is offered, out of the sheer principle that it's not worth going back at this point, Mike's not trading him.
Believe it or not, I actually side with Mikey on this (not the "not trading Chad last year" part, but the "not trading Chad this year" part). At this point, whatever benefit we get out of trading him is pretty minimal. If he's disruptive to the team's efforts, just bench 'im. There's nothing saying he has to play.
But hey, maybe I'm wrong and somebody will still be willing to put something like a first draft pick forth......it's fun to visit fantasyland, I think MB lives there every day.
