In a development loaded with comedic potential, Chad Ochocinco plans to live with the Palmers during July and catch up on chemistry-building. He had this to say about his quarterback:
"We do argue all the time like a married couple. I think that's why weve been so successful together, because we have that type of relationship we can get on one another."
So you will have Carson, his wife, their twins (boy and girl), the nanny, and good ol' Uncle Ocho under one roof. What a great sitcom this would make! Think Fresh Prince meets Family Affair. Or there's always reality TV, but Shaelyn will surely put the kibosh on the whole matter.
Or maybe Chad was just making stuff up again. Quite likely.

"Considering his status, I think Chad probably has 5 or 6 chicks on his speed dial...he doesnt need to whack it.."
Obviously you didn't get the joke in referencing "Grandma's Boy".
Why am I not surprised?
"So he got fired? Big deal. It's happened to the best of us. So he got kicked out of his house by his 400 lb'ed wife?!?!? That's probably better for him anyways."-OldSchooler on ChrisMBHater's absence

Season 1 Storylines

How many sitcom episodes are there in a typical network season these days, 13? We should be able to come up with at least that many storylines. I'm thinking of an early prime-time series, the kind of corny family show that caters to the lowest common denominator. Here are a few ideas, one per potential installment:
- At home after a scrimmage, Chad pouts because Carson wouldn't throw him the football.
- After playing with the twins, Chad pouts because they wouldn't throw him the bouncy ball.
- After dinner, Chad pouts because Shaelyn won't toss him the remote.
- Confusion reigns as Carson and Chad invite their agents to the house on the same day.
- Chad must prepare a speech on self-reliance for the rookies, and asks Carson for help.
- Chad lands in hot water after teaching the twins how to trash talk.
- After schmoozing the nanny, Chad pouts because she won't toss him a compliment.

Chick Ludwig's blog:

Carson said Shaelyn got either a text message or E-mail from a friend, saying Ochocinco planned to stay with the Palmers in the days leading up to training camp. Shaelyn gave birth to twins -- a boy and a girl -- on Jan. 20.
"As soon as I walked in the door from work the other day, she just gave me that look," Palmer said. "I'm like, 'Whoa, calm down. It's media stuff. It's Chad being Chad.'
"I told her, 'Don't worry. I havent made any commitments to having to clear out the boxes in the (spare) room to make a bed for him. Don't worry about that. It's not going to happen.' "
