So the city clowncill decided today, to cut back hours for the cops!
The brilliant thinking of the liberal mind at work....

"Despite how the conflict has been portrayed by our glorious media, if you gave any U.S. soldier a gun with two bullets in it, and he found himself in an elevator with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Osama bin Laden, there's a good chance that Nancy Pelosi would get shot twice, and Harry Reid and bin Laden would be strangled to death."

Hey Murf,
What about the sheriff wanting to buy a new patrol boat to add to his two tanks, helicopters and one hummer; meanwhile his staff is being laid off.

What mindset is that?

"We do do, and we do it at a very, very high level," Lewis said.

When I heard that this morning I laughed, that list is a joke OTR isn't even Cincinnati's most dangerous neighborhood, I work in OTR, Mt Auburn and Avondale all the time, OTR has nothing on Avondale.

Also I would like to know how OTR is more dangerous than Miami's Liberty City?

I think a boat is ridiculous, but it is being paid for by Homeland Security dollars which could not be used for more officers.

The OTR stat is misleading because hardly anyone lives on those streets, but they are heavily frequented at night. Therefore the violent crime/1000 people is exaggerated.

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who undertsand binary, and those who do not.

I don't know, my shop is in OTR and I am down there every day, it is a very busy area.
The crime rate is thru the roof.
Avondale/Price Hill are out of control, but OTR/Westend, still has the crown of being the sh!t hole.

The boat, has nothing to do with local dollars.
It was a federal deal and the only way they got the money for it, is b/c of the bridges.
The Feds would not have given them any money for more officers.

That story was over hyped by the media.

Seeing this neighborhood outlined like this reminds me of the Gang Warfare Quest in San Andreas. LOL!!!! Give me my hand grenades, rocket launcher, AK-47 with unlimited rounds (cheat code, of course), and my bulletproof vest--and I'll be okay. The Balla's (purple gang) should be out of business in 10-15 minutes.

LMAO.

Let us follow the destruction.

Cops get handcuffed by a liberal fed and the local boys don't back them.
Voters say no to a jail.
Social programs get extra money, and the cops have thier hours cut back.

Yet, we have officials trying to figure out how OTR is a dangerous area....

Oh, yeah, they want to build a 200 million dollar street car to ride thru the worst area in the country.

Brilliant thinking...
