My brother in Tennessee said they think it might be a murder-suicide...Jeez...

1) Sad to lose such a young and talented person. Just insane that this kinda stuff keeps happening...

2) He was the only QB the Bengals could regularly beat..

Actually, according to Hobspin McNair won 10 out of 16 starts against us with 21TD's vs 7 Ints. Still a shame though.

I'm going to say that it was a jealous boyfriend/hubby. But the murder/suicide thing goes "nicely" with what's been happening with celebrities these days. So it ain't so, Air McNair? Going out Chris Benoit-style? Glad you don't have little kids running around.

I've followed his career since he played for Alcorn and faced Marshall in the D-IAA playoffs. It's a real shame.

By all accounts we're seeing a Bryn and Phil Hartmann thing all over again.

I still think he deserved the Heisman that year...

Moral of the story: If you're 36-year-old married father of four, don't mess around with unstable, 20-year-old hoochie-mamas.

Very true...however, we don't know all of the details. Their marriage was possibly 'over' anyways already allowing Steve to 'see other people.' Simply put, if he was cheating, then maybe he had it coming. If his marriage was already for all intents and purposes over, then this was a little bit tragic. Considering that the Escalade was registered to both of them, my guess is that this was a girlfriend more so than a secret mistress.

A disturbing story no matter what. And regardless, McNair had a nice NFL career in Houston, Tennessee, and Baltimore.

Good read by Jason Whitlock

"Don't be so quick to make McNair a hero"

Pretty much what I have been thinking all along. The wife may or may not be a victim here. It is also debatable if McNair is at all a victim. But his kids are all victims.

"We shirk our responsibilities as fathers. We don't have time for it. We think it's a part- or no-time job. We think our career is more important. We think charity work is more important. We think some young tail is more important."

I love the article--but speak for yourself, Whit. I am a full-time father. More important than my career. Charity work? Please. And definitely more important than this piece of azz:

[linked image]

But what a nice azz that is--*cough* cough. Seriously though. My son comes first. Then everything else. McNair's a douchebag for letting himself get played out by a f*cking amateur c*ntbag like this.

I'm not impressed either--AND I THINK HIS CAREER IS A LITTLE BIT OVERRATED.

BTW, 2 things:

1. Michael Jackson sucks.
2. ....and I'm going to be a dad again. Just awesome.

Yeah Whitlock, next time write "besides Falc,...."

Only a whack job who doesnt understand basic literary devices would think Whitlock was referring to every guy. Jesus, its not all about you all the time, Falcon...
