Interesting...Rey Rey is still behind Jeanty (for now). I love our starting defense...especially the front line (please let Geathers and Odom play well).
Henry is in a contract year, so he will play better (I would imagine...)

Holy sh!t, what a bunch of scrubs. Run Carson, run!!!
Otherwise the roster could be okay, but knowing the Bungles things will fall apart in short order.

Robert Geathers and Antwon Odem as the starting defensive ends? Who is going to rush the quarterback? These two have been exposed as scrub players who only the Sheep would worship.
Let's hope Smith is the real deal at OT. Otherwise, that patchwork collection of Mike Brown rejects will get Carson pounded for yet another season.
Even if Smith is the real deal, Carson is going to take more than his share of lumps. He's good enough to hit for some home runs if he gets the occaisional chance. We'll see.
By the way, neither of the top wide receivers from the draft two years ago are slated to crack the starting lineup, despite the aging starters and the departure of TJ. What an under-reported testament to the Mike Brown malaise.
If Marvin wins more than seven with this ragtag collection, put him in the Hall of Fame. He performed magic in 2005 with half a team. Maybe he can pull it off again.

Palmer will be broken by the second quarter of the third game. That line will need some serious help. The D should be good and actually have some depth. Clown-o-cinco needs to show something instead of running his chops.

Only surprise to me was FB. Shouldn't Jeremy Johnson have to earn the right to have his name back on top of the depth chart? Last I heard he was so overweight he hasn't even shown up yet -- maybe they should have given him the contract AFTER he was in good enough shape to play football?
D looks much better in terms of depth. Would not be excited to see Abdul Hodge run the D but I assume after 4 games or so Sting Rey? or we goin' with Rey Rey? will be the backup MLB.
Also think they should switch their tackle spots. The big guys should be next to Geathers to free him up to rush the passer. Tank/Sims next to Odom would be decent against pass and run on the other side. They way they have it now: balanced end, run stop DT, Smaller/quicker DT, Pass Rush specialist (sad to have to call Geathers that), makes no sense to me. One side is overloaded to stop the run and one side ain't stopping nothing cuz other teams will shift the blocking to that side when they pass.

WTF?!?!??!?!?!?!?!? Why in the hell isn't the Bungles' 1st round draft pick starting? 1st rounders are supposed to start and contributing in the 1st year if they aren't a QB. JMO.

"Take panties out of bunch and let training camp open up. Plus, the guy isnt signed yet either."
Only in Bungleton would this explanation suffice. Maybe in RaiderLand. Only two places in the NFL anymore that this explanation holds water. Two.

Do you think Tim Brown was a bust?
I am not ready to call a second year player a bust...kind of jumping the gun a bit.
Plus, he was slowed b/c of injury and in the NFL, and you are young and injury can damage the start of your career.
I am not saying that guy is not a bust or a future hall of famer, I am just saying relax.
Tim Brown one of the greats...played 6 years before breaking a thousand yards.
Camp has not even started yet and you guys are worried.
lol!

Maualuga wasn't a 1st round pick. The Bengals 1st round pick IS a projected starter.

Perry wsa good, when healthy, but could never stay healthy.
Anyway...look out for Scott and Johnson in the backfield...they might have been a tad bit premature on going after Leanord.
James Johnson is looking very strong and Scott is a very quick back.....aka Parker type.
Rumors starting to emerge from Smtih's camp already...look for a long hold out!
Unless Smith himself, decides to be a man and live up to his own words, I don't see this as a good camp for him.

"Yeah, Perry was fantastic for that whole 5 minutes that he wasn't suffering from some form of vaginal injury."
HAHAHAHA. Michigan. College All-Star.
I went to the last day of mini-camp at PBS. Our D was definitively the bright point of the day. Our O-Line spent more time running laps for false starts and bad blocking assignments than actual practice I think. I think I said to myself "Carson would have been dead" during plays at least 10 times. O-Line needs to shape up.
Michael Johnson is a freak. He will be good as long as he can learn the game. Rey-Rey will be playing a lot this year. He was the first LB to every station and usually the first one saying he was first on said drill. That boy definitely has a motor.
Hopefully, Carson will have time to throw to our WR's. That is my big concern.

He was the 2nd rounder that the Bungles projected being selected in the 1st round. BTW--if you get your real 1st rounder on the field this year (Smith), it's going to be a damned miracle.

Rainman...did you watch the 2005 season?
Learn something about football, get your head out of your boyfriends during the games, and then get back with me.

lol murf is still back in 2005 watching his Bengals games tapes. Teams have sure been salivating to grab Chris Perry after the Bungles released him.
Perry benefitted from that one year we had a good o-line and Carson had plenty of time to throw to his multiple weapons. Lots of players have the potential to succeed in a good offense. Face it, Perry sucks and and has a severe case of fumbleitis.
