The Bungs lose

There are few precious things in life that are predictable. Some examples are, the sun rises and sets, your wife only values you for the work you do around the house and your earning potential, death and taxes, Conservatives continue to be thrown to the wolve as a sllent majority minority, the Big Ten loses to USC, and the Dreds and Bungs continue to lose as well. However, without these predictable outcomes, where would we be? How could we cope with the unpredicability of what life has to throw at us?

And what a horrific sports weekend this has been! First the Buckeyes and then the Bungs. I can't remember two heart breakers like this occurring on consecutive days before. Not for two local teams, anyway. So there, even common tragedy can occur in unique combinations. Ain't it great to have a little variety?

And I meant to add...

Thank God for this message board. I can't bear to hear or read anything else about the NFL right now.

I gave up on the NFL when I gave up on the Bungs. All I have now are my Buckeys. Even though the Bucks may not ever be an elite team in college ball, at least they compete and win consistantly. In fact, had the Bungs at least gone over .500 every now and then, I probably would have stuck with them. I tell people I did not give up on my team, rather, my team gave up on me. For the life of me, I don't know how you people torture yourselves week after week watching this train wreck of a freakize.

Theydey - you have to find the amusement in them and when you ever think they cant be or do anything worse - they can and do. Its awesome. I do not own or buy any bunghole merchandise - I dont pay to watch or go to games - I just bash. Of course I never deny that my team of choice is the bungs - but I make sure I let people know I think they are disgraceful right away. Therefore they dont feel sorry for me.

It doesnt feel right to pick a new team or dump the NFL altogether. I prefer college but I also enjoy watching the college guys perform at the next level.

I know one day mikehole's era will come to end like Marge and Carl...until then I will watch him a huge azz of himself

When I saw the ball deflected I immediately knew the outcome even before Stokley took a step, I busted out in complete laughter, my wife came down to the cave to see if I was alright, I couldn't stop laughing for an hour, woke up monday with a sore stomach.

You think the mikehole era ends when mikehole is in the hole? I thought his brilliant football genious daughter is going to take over the reigns? My guess is her daughter or grandaughter will take over the team after her. Yep, the fun never will end so long as they can reproduce!!

An easy set of guesses concerning Sunday night and early Monday morning.

None of the Bengals coaches slept. Neither did any of the players. The homer fans managed very little. Most other fans slept only fitfully, including some of our posters here. But what of Mike Brown, the guy who claimed "this is a bottom-line business" on Hard Knocks? Well... he was zonked before his head hit the pillow.

Mike Brown sleeping off another humiliating loss...
