I certainly hope the Bungals can bounce back after the act of God that proved that even God hates Mike Brown last week. My father is the benevolent itmightbejb, and he informs me that that this site is over run with people that have no idea what they are talking about. I am here to add balance to an otherwise one sided debate!
That having been said; I really don't think the Bengals are as bad as what was demonstrated last week. Any thoughts?

In the past 18 years, the Bengals have made exactly one legitimate playoff push after starting the season poorly. That was in 2003, Marvin Lewis's first season, before he became Bungalized.
In the past 18 years, the Bengals haven't even looked impressive in very many games. Not in games that mattered, not while they still had a shot at the playoffs. What might the number be? Maybe around 20 if we're generous. Now think of the Steelers and how the number must be pushing 200, at least.
So here we are in the 2009 season, and the Bengals start off by losing an ugly game to an ugly opponent. You want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Why?
By the way, KB. Welcome to MBS, the place where the glass is always half empty.
