Now the Bengals have sold out every game since 2003, so I'll check with the owner personally before Saturday to see if he is gonna pirate the game if the blackout stands like he used to....since thats not the kind of thing you can ask over the phone.

Okay, there are still plenty of cynics milling about who are loving this. But I think it's a shame for the local people.

I don't think people are staying away b/c of the owner, don't get me wrong, some might be, but I think the game is not sexy enough.
Texans don't have a huge fan base here, (untill they win a Superbowl), the economy around here is very bad and the price to go to a game is out of control anymore.

I think the NFL should ease the blackouts a bit.
They have to understand the economy is not in a good enough place for people to droping 75.00 a ticket, plust parking, beer and food.
The game nails me for about atleast 100.00 with a free ticket.

Extension was granted. Apparently about 3000 tickets left. Blackout seems doubtful at this point.

Assuming the blackout doesn't happen, look for a skinny, drunk guy screaming his head off every time the Texans have a 3rd down (I am all about screaming at the game, to me the whole point is to help your team win. Can't stand people that are quiet the whole time or just scream when we score).

Was also thinking about taking a sign, though I have never done so (It's only my 2 1/4 game -- only count pre-season as a 1/4, lol). Open to suggestions.
