When Dunn was still with us, he frequently started catch-all threads. They were the kind you could dump just about anything in, anything that didn't merit a separate thread. I miss them (as well as the Dunner) so here's a shot at it.

After a long absence, the archives have returned on Bengals.com!

Now we can go back a savor the classics, like this old Geoff Hobson interview with Mike Brown. Great fodder for venting, and the time will come (all too soon) when we'll need them again. One of these days, I'll collect all of Hobson's "bell cow" passages into a single thread. And of course it will have to be dedicated to Belko.


Homer-mania in times of plenty.

I don't think I can take it when Hobson has to talk his readers down to earth. Here he is, trying to calm a couple of worshipers who slobber all over Paul Alexander and Chris Henry. Didn't you know? Alexander is a national treasure and Henry is flypaper on long legs.

Not even these highly-trained professional testers could stand his latest attention-grabbing ploy. I try to avoid such stories, but when wafted directly in front of my face, they tend to push me to the pits of despair.
