I am not one to contibute to political posts, but I would like to get out in front of the Chris Christie train before some of you look to go for the "reach around approach" while looking for a viable candidate.

http://www.nj.com/business/index.ssf/2011/02/casino_construction_resumes_wi.html

The mayor of Atlantic City didn't want anything to do with this, but a South Jersey Dem has been in bed with the gov because without AC, there would be little reason for anyone to go there. And in a time when NJ is so broke it cannot pay attention, here is the return on "our" investment......

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2011/05/atlantic_city_casino_revenue_f.html

Oh, and I am sure that everyone has Mark Zuckerburg, founder of Facebook, has donated 100 million dollars to Newark Schools. Here's an update on where that 100 million is to go....

http://www.nj.com/mercer/index.ssf/2011/05/capital_preparatory_under_inve.html

Please, vet him responsibly before some of you start singing for this guy. He couldn't win NJ at this juncture.

It is depressing watching the Jets have success.

Never heard of him.

One the most disturbing things about our country is that we only get to decided between a few people.
The party leaders push a few sh!t people out there and back a major player.
Most Americans are too scared to vote for a separate party or an independent b/c they have brain washed to believe that they need 1 party or the other.

Never heard of him? LMAO I guess they haven't covered him on talk radio yet. While I agree it would be nice to have a third party, but I disagree that it's because people are scared they need one or the other. That's your reasoning for being an extreme republican only. I think most people don't vote third party because they feel or they become convinced that their vote would be wasted if they did. So they end up voting for what they consider to be the lesser of two evils.

I agree with Murf here.

But the 45th president won't be elected until 2016.

Mikey is cleverer than you think.

Forgive me if niether of you "heard of him." (not believeable). But millionaires in Iowa with lots of money will be visiting the gov's mansion in Princeton come May 31st to sit down with him. I agree TOBB, it won't be the next election. The oppostion field will be lacking star power, and more people will be calling for him. This guy will be a household name.

My conservative friends in Nevada love him. He will be a household name. 2016 will be perfect for him.

T,
I am headed Upstate today for a wedding, so I won't be around. I did just get back from Ft. Lauderdale, the weather is smokin down there.

I also have the ticket for the all star game, will you make it?

Flap- I meant next Friday sorry.

I am still very interested in ticket. Watching Crew game now against the Quakes.. 0-0

I think the all star game is on a Wednesday right? I can fly into either LGA or JFK out of C-bus.

My wife and I are most likely going to Vancouver for a week prior to that and hopefully catch the Crew game out there.

btw - I got a jersey for you.

T

I live in New Jersey and have most my life. The chances this guy gets reelected here are zero. He won't run for governor of NJ again because he won't win. Everyone here knows that. The national attention he is receiving is mind-boggling to us.

But in all fairness we haven't had a good governor in my lifetime.

Is it really mind-boggling that he is getting attention nationally? I mean, you are talking about a nation that had Sarah Palin as a VP candidate from a state where she was elected governor. Finding the job way too much for her she quit, but that fact apparently didn't diminish her national standing in the eyes of many. That, my friend, is mind-boggling.

You fuching liberals are embarrassing.
honestly, how do you look in the mirror everyday of your pathetic lives and think that you are better than the local crack head without getting sick?

You sit there and judge people and then want to come at a non-liberal and talk about judging people.

Seriously?

Grow a spine and stand up for what you believe in...I can respect that, it might be a bunch of happy horse sh!t that I don't agree with, but at least be a fuching man and have some pride about yourself and what you fight for.

For the record, I don't give a sh!t about some whacked out Hollywood dream weaver.
I am just pointing out the pathetic hypocrisy of it all.

Wait, wait, wait. Are you telling me that the daydreaming PC types like Olbermann aren't angry? If you would have talked to them during the Bush Years--I'll bet they were. wink.gif

It's easy to flip sh*t when you're tunnel visioned.

Thanks for reminding me. At least that date is with something resembling a CHICK.

Now lemme give you a reminder--You need the bleach to get your boyfriend's peeled out fresh skid marks out of his skivies before your date tonight.

You have some work to do.

You shouldn't f*ck with me, SteelerFan. You're too dumb to keep up.

Bo, you nailed it. I don't think he will be reelected here. I think right after the country falls in love with him, they will realize that a NJ republican just isn't conservative enough for the party.

Murf, don't turn this into another insult laded attack thread, especially when you have already claimed not to know anything about the topic of the thread. If you don't know who he is, then we don't need to know your feelings about liberals AGAIN.
