Sooooo we trade a 7th for Mays, and we dont even try for Merriweather (pro-bowler)?

Merriweather probably wasnt willing to play for a half bag of Cheetos and a few pairs of dirty socks. Welcome to the 2012 NFL draft, the Cincinnati Bengals are now on the clock.

e-town...news flash...those previous moves weren't football motivated...they are for ticket sales...did you buy any?

low risk move, and as pyscho and others have clearly pointed out, fans of both teams (seahawks & 49ers) were very willing to move kelly and taylor and were OVERJOYED to see them leave...

no way we beat out another NFL team to get merriweather, and no way he is ok w/ coming here...

Yeah even Mikey knows trying to sign a competent player that has options is an exercise in futility

Even if the player wasn't using the Bungles for leverage for other teams' negotiations--MFB knows that if he actually had a young viable player come to the 'Nati--and he performs and hits all escalators on his contract--then MFB would have to eventually pay that player.

Mike Brown would rather sell you the smokescreen. Speaking of which--did anybody read TMQ's article the week of 8/22? It is accurate on the motivations on Mikey running his team.
