I'm not that big on reading the forums of the teams we play, but I just had to go to their forum to laugh at their disbelief at losing to the Bengals.
The consensus among some posters is that they lost cause of bad calls. Here's one post from a myriad of threads:
NFL is still RIGGED. Video PROOF!
I had a feeling they were going to call this the Bengals way after the Bryan Scott fumble return - tuck rule. Also the no-holding call on Shawne Merriman. Stevie Johnson's catch in the 4th Quarter with 8 Minutes left on 3rd down. Andy Dalton's run in the 4th quarter on 4th down with Seconds left. All real bad calls.
NFL CAMECENTER: BILLS v. BENGALSBRYAN SCOTT FUMBLE RETURN TD (Tuck Rule)
-This one was a given because the whole tuck rule, which is one of the worst rules. Video at 0:16
STEVIE JOHNSON 1ST DOWN CATCH ON 3RD DOWN (4th Quarter 8 Minutes Left)
-Was reviewed and it was clear evidence that it was a catch, Replay doesn't lie. Video at 2:01
ANDY DALTON SHORT OF FIRST DOWN
-It was measured, Replay evidence showed he was short, he actually landed out of bounds at the same time. Video at 2:56
Everyone knows, that the Stevie Johnson catch and the Dalton run were not called right.. theres VIDEO EVIDENCE. This is BS, the officials wanted to give the Bengals this game.
How? and Why?
I thought the Stevie Johnson one was a catch, so I'll give them that. The Dalton one looked like he had it from where I was sitting. So I'll put it to you guys. Were the Bills robbed or sour grapes?
One other thread:
What transpired today was mind boggling. I typically like to avoid the conspiracy theory BS, but no doubt that today's outcome was predetermined, the NFL wants nothing to do with a successful Bills team, and are just counting the days to move this franchise to a big market.
More of the same, and this league is flat out rigged,
"With a quarterback greener than a first year, a hovering ghost, and a magic wand of an offense handed down from the founding fathers of the franchise, Jay Gruden is a fiery, passionate underdog in the Harry Potter mold." Geoff Hobson July 15, 2011
