Bronco, Congratulations. Its the hardest job you'll ever love.
You sound like a proud daddy but I see you are not married. In Nevada, how does one establish paternity? I assume it is done as a formality during a hearing in front of a judge. I think you need to do that asap if you expect your name to be on the birth certificate.
When is the wedding?

Marriage is on the horizon. I am waiting so I can ask her father's permission. He lives in Lithuania. He only speaks Russian. I am learning Russian now. LOL. He and his wife are coming to visit after the baby is born. I will ask him at that time.
He approves of me and is happy about the baby. Its a formality, but I want to show him the proper respect and ask for his blessing.
The good news is that weddings in Lithuania last 3 days!!
Should be a helluva party!

Congrats Daddy! Speaking from experience, the best thing my Wife ever let me do to her was to "rack the uterus" Two awesome Daughters and I have never been happier. I wish you the same Blessing my Friend.

Bronc, I've through this exect scenario, and establishing respect from the father is paramount.
Did you write the letter telling him how much you respect her.......yada yada.
Put it ALL out on the line, he will be here a couple of days and you need to look the BEST.
Hang tough my friend.

Congratulations!
Your life will soon be changed forever, in a good way. And I'm impressed with your acts of respect for her father. I raised 3 kids myself, then I started all over and had to raise my grandson, but it was always a labor of love and I have no regrets. I expect you'll feel similarly blessed.
