About the Jaguars struggling young quarterback, Blaine Gabbert...

I heard that he just got a new offensive coordinator. The name escapes me right now. The coach who followed Mike Mularkey from Atlanta.

Who is that guy?

LOL. It will be great fun to track Jacksonville's on offense progress next year. I am soooo looking forward to it.

For starters, he's got a lame first name.

You wonder if Brat was running from ATL as much as he was running to JAX...

"The vignette lasted only a minute out of the initial one-hour show, but reinforced perceptions of how the organization is run. When the owner offers his "wild thought," everyone speaks carefully -- or not at all -- so as not to contradict the boss."

He has a good head coach to work under that will try to score points.

I like Gabbert, he needs weapons.

"will try to score points?"

I'm assuming you're guessing he'll coach differently than he coordinates. Since his playbook ain't that different from the Giggles strategy you b!+c# about incessantly.

When he was a Pittsburgh, he had a pretty good offense.
They went from average in points to top ten in scoring points with bad qb's.
Stewart was spending most of his time blaming everyone else and crying on the side lines and Maddox was simply a hand off machine.

In Buffalo, he had them scoring points when he had Bledsoe, then the offense went south the next year without Beldsoe.
I believe it was one of their highest scoring years in a very long time.

He is a great offensive coach.
I believe they have the right qb, they have a pretty solid run game for now and a decent defense.
They need play makers to get over that hump.

Murf, I take it that you're talking about Mularkey? The problem is that now he has a HUGE self-inflicted handicap. Brat is his offensive coordinator.

Brat got predictable, but he got predicatble b/c he was being forced to call plays under Marvin.

I think Jax got it right this time.
