My collection right now is small but plan on adding more guns in the future to my collection.
My favorite gun I own is my .300 weatherby magnum. It was one of the first guns I shot as a kid and fell in love with it right away. I think for the most part I loved it so much as a child was because of the extreme kick the gun had. Now I respect it for its actuary and long range capabilities. Roy Weatherby in my mind was a genius who believed velocity was more important than sure knock down power. His Bullet design has more powder behind the bullet than a regular .300 for more foot pounds at the Muzzle.
I have a mark v with a Swarovski scope.
Other guns I have are a Springfield 1911 .45 auto( an American standard for pistols).
A Desert Eagle .44 mag( bought the gun from a friend cause their no longer made, not a practical gun however)
A Berretta extrema shotgun( Absolutley love this 12 gauge, hardly any kick)
and my fun gun a smith and Wesson M&P 15 ( low cost on 5.56 NATO rounds, and fun to shoot this AR 15 down range )
Other guns I plan on buying:
H&k P30
Also one day a Barrett 82A1 .50BMG ( just can't justify it yet )

"would never list anything on the net"
You may have to list them eventually if there is an international registery. I am not sure if I should stock up on guns now because Obama will make gun purchases prohibative or not purchase any more in case there is an outright door to door confiscation (for our safety of course).

Actually I remember Dunn checking Falc on his last claim he had weapons but supposedly they were never registered with the State of California which is a crime

""Love them all--can't own" ~ Falc
Convicted felon?"
Impossible, dumba$$. I can't (lawfully) own if I were 'felon'. I wouldn't have my 1911 Colt locked up in a safe somewhere. And sh*thead Storm--Derrwood tried to call me out on it--then I invited his dipsh*t azz down to Charlotte for a little "party". Funny how he never showed.
Then I seen his pics you guys took and it all made sense when you guys ran in the 4-step "100" in the Special Olympics. Storm, I heard you took 5th out of 3 "racers". Funny how that works out too.
Also, one more thing:
"Actually I remember Dunn checking Falc on his last claim he had weapons but supposedly they were never registered with the State of California which is a crime"
No, dumb sh*t. You don't HAVE to register. It's a way to trace your weapon in case if it's ever stolen from you--then you could possibly retrieve it. But it's not required.
You should probably look into "facts" before you post them.
Fulcher:
"Oldschooler- what guns do they allow in california?"
Sheesus--uhhhh--nothing out of the "ordinary". AR's are okay if you have that silly "key" thingermajigger that doesn't allow you to eject magazines without a "key". Yeah right. Stupid MF'ing politicians. When in the hell are they going to learn? No matter how dumb your legislation, "we" will defeat you.
The safest thing if you are unsure is to check it out with your local gun store or online.

Great choice in a pistol. The 1911 is an American classic a great gun for reliability and accuarcy. The original 1911 was designed buy a genius John Browning and was used by our millitary in world war 1, world war 2, korean and vietnam war, replaced in 1985 by the m9 which was first used in the first Iraq war.
Im a big fan in the 1911, and wouldnt have any other. 45 acp.

I think my next investment is going to be something a little more "simple"--the 9mm Beretta. What do you think?
I was thinking about going the .357 S&W route--but I want something with a lesser "bang".....

As far as 9mm I would go with an Hk p30 but berreta makes some real nice 9mm's too. I really like the berreta nano it's compact and makes for a good concealled handgun.

.22 and .45, love them both. Shoot every Wednesday, competitions on Sunday during the summer. Don't hunt animals though, you know, being a tree-hugger and all.
You can take the boy out of West Virginia but you can't take West Virginia out of the boy.

"I purchased a Glock 19 today."
And being lazy (just continuing the conversation, really)--what kind is that--9mm or .40 cal?
I can't remember....

Thats a nice choice, I have one myself and am thinking of getting a second. 9mm is cheap, it has capacity, 15, yet small and light enough to carry. Glocks are as reliable as any. No external safety to fudge with, outside of the trigger.
