Kid looked solid against the Falcons.

Tackling machine.

I think we played at LaSalle in Cincy, then for UC and now for the Bengals.
local kid does well.

He played smart and seemed to be in the right position.
He might make the squad...possibly Dan Skuta II?

At UC he was a machine on defense.

Finds the ball...
We were discussing this during the game at laughing at how many plays he found his way into.
Problem is the backers are loaded and it is going to be hard to make the team.

Special teams might put him on top.

I think Rey is solid.

He took a ton of blame for others failures.

I think giggles is a horrible head coach, but a great football coach.
Zimmer is a great football coach and when they both fight to retain this guy, in my mind there has to be something there.

They could have made a very easy choice to let him walk, put Burfict in the middle, but they wanted Rey.

I believe the more Burfict understands and with Harrison, you will see a better player this year.

He looked a lot better. In better shape, a lot faster. But he has zero instincts. You either can anticipate, or you can't. When he hits people, they go down. That's his best quality. Nobody falls forward, gets extra yards, they go down. Far too often, he plays dancing bear and engages the guard, rather than shed, avoid or beat him to the spot. Dude just doesn't have the instincts.

Just take Rey out on passing downs and he is fine.
Seriously.

About the LB'ing Crew

By mid-season, I expect only ONE of those backers to still be around and not on the LIST or arrested.....that's either Burfict (who plays too hard not to be on the LIST) or 58. I'm saying 58's still going to be playing by week 8.

Total overhaul. And Harrison's going to be collecting a paycheck. Nice......

We will see.

Regardless of what you think of him, Burfict has been a model player since arriving in Cincy.
And the kid is legit. Every team in the league would love to have him.

Harrison got signed for peanuts. He adds and edge and some great experience.
I dont see how its a bad pick up if the price is right.
