"And... maybe Dalton's focus all week in practice is... dink, dink, dinkity-dunk. Dinkity-dinkity dunkity-dunk-dunk. Da-dunk. "

They might not be practicing, drive past PBS and the practice fields several times a day 5 days a week different times of the day and I have yet to see them practicing

Catching the Bengals practicing is more elusive than spotting a DoDo bird

West Coast Offense

"Its all dink and dunk crap and the defenses know it"

When Gruden was hired didn't he say he was going to install the west coast offense which is like a series of long handoffs dink and dunk - matriculating the ball down the field like the 49ers. Only problem now is that Dalton is no Joe Montana and AJ is no Jerry Rice. Even with that kind of offense you still need a deep threat to stretch the field. AJ might have some potential there but I question whether Dalton can get the ball to him consistently deep.

I am still not blaming Dalton, he is still young and he is going to make mistakes but I also don't think the coaching staff is properly preparing him for games and I bet a lot of mistakes that look like his are receivers running the wrong routes coupled with bad play calling

I watched a few plays on Red Zone where he made plays that helped win the game

You have a QB that has made the playoffs both years he's been here and is 3-2 now and your backup is Josh Johnson.

Unless you know of some saviour on the waiver wire, Dalton is what you have, for better or for worse.

How 'bout NOT. I don't wanna see it. Nobody wants to see that. That would be like your 3rd string QB coming off the bench to play in high school after the 1st 2 QBs go down. You know he's going to throw that game-ending pick in the final 3 minutes for 6 the other way.

You will have no one but giggles to blame for that crap. AND your running game isn't strong enough to be making QB changes.

Dalton, as bad as he may be at times, is your best option. Go with that.

37-1
Redzone vs turn over.

Bad decision by Andy to throw the ball, bad route by a rookie to sit and wait on the ball combined with a good read and play by a linebacker.

The scheme is the problem people combined with the personnel packages.
Going into the 4th qtr, the 3 best drives of the day, were drives driven by the passing game.

Giggles is a clown.
There is a small part of me wanting this team to go 3-13 from here on out hoping that brings the end to Giggles.

He is the worst coach in football and I am including grade school coaching at this point.
The fear to go out and win a football game is simply embarrassing as a fan.

The Defense shut down one of the best in football AGAIN and the idiot gave them 3 points right before half.

Dalton was 20-27 with 3 drops today.
When allowed to move the ball , the offense moved the ball.

Is it possible that Giggles doesn't trust Dalton completely and is putting the muzzle on him in certain situations? Also is Gruden still intent in implementing the west coast offense? I see traces of it when Dalton tries short passes out in the flat and throws to a back more coming out of the backfield sort of like when Montana threw to Roger Craig.

You know, jay Gruden came over from the UFL and the arena league. Maybe he has plateaued as an OC.

Here's the thing: Bad Andy's stats against Buffalo were 26 of 40 for 337 yards with three TD's and one INT. That's a quarterback rating of 141.2 105.9.

More importantly, he's now 4-2 in his third season. This is after he led the Bugs to playoffs his first two seasons.

You can see where the comparisons to Joe Flacco come from.

I know, I know. Flacco was winning playoff games, but is Bad Andy really so darn bad? It's maddening to watch the offense, I'll give you that.

On a separate note... How awful are Jax helmets? They remind me of half spray painted gold Camero that you would find in a trailor park.

When was the last time Dalton completed a pass over 30 yards? Not including YAC
The offense has gone 100% popgun. Why not trade AJ?Completely wasting his talents away.

AJ has one route.... Go long and catch Andy's Hail Mary pass. That's it. He is not utilized any other way. When it's red zone it's the fade jump ball. The bungles have zero imagination. They think using the end around is cutting edge.

But that's why I love them
