According to brown nose Hobspin we have already over spent the cap and are needing to cut Andy Dalton and AJ Green so that the cap will be exactly where brown stain needs it to be

Most teams consider the available cap space the cap ceiling, but the Bungs are reporting how far below the cap floor that they are.

Notice how many dumba$$ teams have the most cap space? SF has to be glad to be done with Kaepernick.

Remember, Houston just made half of that with the Osweiller trade. And that also puts into perspective what the Browns actually have, considering that they basically have the luxury to do whatever the heck they want with Osweiller at this point.

And while I will almost never point to the Browns as a model for anything, as of the 2015 season they actually had the highest paid defense in the NFL, and it was awful. Since then their template has been a complete rebuild, not typical in the NFL, but also not unlike what the 76ers of the NBA and Edmonton Oilers of the NHL have done recently, or with legendary examples the NBA's Cleveland Cavs, the MLB's Florida Marlins, and the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. They gutted their team last season (letting basically everyone of value other than perennial All-Pro and likely future HOFer Joe Thomas and their druggy WR go). They loaded up on draft picks. They have made some FA moves this offseason. They will likely suck in 2017 also, but they are building with the idea of pushing for the 2018 playoffs and continued improvement from there. So while they have all of that cap space, they are being wise, and also they actually did the right thing with the Osweiller trade...they CAN afford to basically buy a draft pick, so they did. Again, more like something that the NBA's 76ers would try to do, but clever none the less.

Sam, I couldn't have said it better myself. Cleveland won't be there this season but they're coming. I wonder if Hue Jackson has Haslam's ear because all these smart moves are not very 'Browns' like.

Cap Space Revision.

Note the Bungholes stayed where they were money wise after dumping Whitworth's $9m, Maualuga's $3.5m, Peko's $4m and Zeitler's $5m and whatever Hunt, Dansby, Burkhead, etal. were making. Of course you've got to add one fifth of whatever Kirkpatrick's new deal is worth. And they moved from having the 11th most money to the 9th most. I'm sure MikeyBoy will claim poverty though because he didn't pay last month's electric bill and he expects to buy over 100 new bath towels this year.

And they need to use one of their late round picks on that kicker from Arizona St. Kid made 9 out of his 10 attempts from beyond 50 yds. If they haven't learned how important kickers are after last year they're even dumber than Jeremy Hill.

The Bungholes have now signed all 11 draft picks and they still have $18.7 million left in cap space. That's 11th most in the league.

If they're serious about extending Burfict and Eifert it wouldn't even count against the cap until next year when the cap goes up anyway (assuming they don't offer either of them bonus money THIS year. So they can still go get a decent Left Tackle once they start falling off the tree when camp opens.

Will MikeyBoy bite the bullet and get help?

Will they try to extend Vinny Ray and Russell Bodine?

R.I.P. Batman. You and Colonel Hogan were my two favorite pervs.

The patriots have $2M more than the bungs and they are defending SB champs!?!?!

Enough said.

Let's hope the browns parlay that $61m into some good. And not the brown family.
