I fully expected this. This sort of loss is worse than a meltdown in the sense that it's a heartbreaker... or it would have been. I expected this as soon as I saw them coming back in the second half. There's a time this would have really made me feel terrible, but now, I think I'm numb to it to a large extent.

Yay, we're still in the running for Sam Darnold!

All that's left is for Hobson to spin this as a win. You know, one of those almost-great things the Bungles did that he brings up when he tries to make a point.

Like those great moments over the last 50 years. You wait and see.

The good teams figure out a way to win

And the bad ones figure out a way to lose. But realistically the bungs had as much a chance to win as UC did yesterday against Navy. Even after that good 1st half I knew the bungs would somehow lose. Sad sack of a team and organization - good luck next week on the road against Cle - a far hungrier team.

Well hopefully they fire the kicker and then Marvin (probably at the end of the season)

That's it for the year right.

Bullllllllllllllllock!!!!!!!!!

Lest anybody forgets, he did miss a make-able field goal in regulation in a game that went to overtime.

And lest anybody forgets, the Packers were really shorthanded today with all their injuries. So the Bungs had a lucky opportunity. That they blew at the end of the game, after Green Bay had also lost another starting tackle in Bullaga.

Bungs just never can stand prosperity.

Let the tsunami of hot seat articles and blog posts commence!

Reds get swept by B Red Sox, UC loses and of course the bungs lose. Losers town deluxe this year (maybe FC Cincinnati will save the bacon).

Hey was that a spectacularly Bungles way to lose?

I mean that game was one of the most Bungle-istic we've seen in a while. Halftime lead, no adjustments, Dalton missing the clutch throws, Bullock missing the important kick, Marvin blowing a timeout before they even ran a play in overtime, defense choking big time and letting up a huge play on 3rd down to lose it (not even rushing hard on that play)... this game had it all!

Someone says this was Mike Brown's 250th loss. Is that accurate??

Heh this **** is gold! The bungs are at least getting us to the bulk of the **** sandwich that is being a bengals fan early again this year! Its so liberating when you take the first couple mouth fulls knowing you dont have to choke down so much all at once later in the season! SO what games do you guys think we will win this season? Maybe the browns once then split one with pittsburgh possibly a random victory at the end of the year?

At this point I think about five wins is the ABSOLUTE ceiling

but I could easily see a two win season as the floor.

It's nice when the Bungs are eliminated before October, like the 1990s, rather than head faking me into watching a January playoff blowout or fiasco.

Bungs now at #31. Good job mikey - after this week's loss at Cle they will be #32.

"31. Bengals (0-3; No. 29): The bad news is that they still may be the worst team in Ohio"
