Response to Re: Cousin

Hey guys just after I typed my last message my grandma had some work for me and my cousin to do. We had to put together a dresser for the basement. It was up on the 2nd floor (grandpa and cousin hauled it upstairs because it was. bought for the guest bedroom but plans changed I'd assume), so it would need to be brought down 2 flights of stairs. The box was about 7ft by 3ft, and weighed 184lbs (was nice and heavy). So, we decide it would be best if we loadedit on a dolly, then take it down, me below the dolly, her holding from the top. She didn't seem to struggle much at all during the first flight of stairs, but iasied if she was okay a couple of times but she said she had it. We get to ground level and both are worn out a bit. I asked her if she wanted to switch positions or if she wanted to be on top to which she replied, "..but I don't want to fall off you" and I laughed a bit and we continued to the stairs. We start going down the stairs and she was doing fine until about halfway down she started struggling and eventually it fellback on her and she started laughing. I asked againif she was all right and she laughed and said she was fine. After we both agreed we were ready she tilted it up (kind of impressve if you ask me) and we got it down the rest of the few remaining stairs and took a little break. We were both panting and I complimented her saying, "You are -strong- for a girl!" (girl part was to try to get a rise out of her but it didn't work) which she seemed to love and said "I told you I'm tough!". Then nstead of moving the dolly, she suggest we carry it for the rest of the ways. She got on one end, myself the other. We lifted it at the count of three, with myself being taller she seemed to look like she had a harder end to handle. We walked about 8ft and set it down. After a tiny break my cousin, my grandma and myself started putting it together. Nothing too spectacular here really - when she handled the drill she got really hyper and loved its power (I'm assuming) After we finished -she- suggested we have a styrofoam battle with the leftover padding from the box. She didn't seem to hold back much, and we had a ton of fun whacking each other. I'd say we tied.

(you are all caught up now)

I wrote this from my iPod so it took awhile, and my cousin is on the of In front of me. I saw her looking at her myspace account and saw some a of her flexing her biceps (not much too see though) but it did seems to cement the fact that she is proud of her strength (and muscles).

Explorer I think you hit this situation right on it's head. I will follow your advice and see what comes of it.

I'm 6ft 245lbs, she's 5ft and I'd guess around 120lbs (not good at guessing weight). She's very short and I tease her about it sometimes.

Today has been a great day, I'll try to update again tomorrow.
