By now, I'm sure, most of you here are either checking out the Olympics or waiting for your favorite events. In these Games, as ever, there is plenty for the die-hard muscle enthusiasts to check out.
I, for one, can't wait to see more women's weightlifting, particularly the heavyweights (over 75kg) category.
Here's a link to the weightlifting schedule:

And having just seen some diving, I am reminded of the taut, smooth physiques of these bold and graceful athletes. While not all female divers are built alike, and this seems particular to divers. So if there's plenty for all types to appreciate.
Here's the info:

Also, there's the track and field events, and the sprinters, javelin and discuss throwers, polevaulters and jumpers we all love to watch.
Then, there are the amazon lover's must-see events, women's shot put and hammer throw. Like most people, I don't really know one name from another (although I do have a mental image of a gorgeous, wonder-thighed Polynesian shot putter who won a major title recently -- name, anyone?). While I can't pretend to be an expert, I can provide yet another link to a schedule:

(noticing a theme to where I'm procuring my links)
I will take a pass on delving into lavish descriptions of gymnastics in this, for the sake that they have their own built-in publicity factor, sort of like figure skaters in Winter Games. Not to mention that I always feel kinda leery watching it as I do. But should you wish for more, there should be resources to allow you to catch it in abundance.
In short, there are ample avenues for catching our fave sporty, muscly femmes in action, perhaps more than in the whole intermission between Olympics. And if there are sports than I am missing, please let me know.
I'll be watching and enjoying these Games along with you.
