You'll want q-tips or cotton balls and alcohol to clean his umbilical cord and petroleum jelly to put on his you-know-what if he is going to be circumcised to keep it from chaffing on his diaper. It wouldn't hurt to take some baby lotion too. It can help soothe them to sleep if they're fussy to rub some on them or if he has any little dry patches.
