Yeah, I read this, but I haven't been able to confirm it anywhere else. I was hoping someone more involved with Russian adoption will say it's not as bad as the article makes it sound. I did hear people can still adopt without agencies, but I don't know how feasible that is from Russia or what that means. I sure hope this doesn't affect those already pursuing adoption, but the article sure sounded bad. I'm holding my breath until she comes back and advises us. This could disrupt thousands of hopeful parents.
