I wasn't interested. We were even offered frozen embryos, but we weren't interested. I didn't want to go through pregnancy and childbirth unless the child was biologically mine. Besides, our problem was sperm related. We talked about donor sperm, but I couldn't get past the "ick" factor, and I wasn't sure how difficult that would be to explain to a child someday.
Honestly, I always wanted to adopt, so moving from IVF to adoption wasn't a huge leap for me. Besides, I was ready to be a mom and get away from the medical camp.
