I've only posted a few times on here but used to post frequently on the high fsh board. We got the call last week that we were matched and our baby girl is due August 20th! My dh & I are over the moon and I can't actually believe I'm really going to be a mom. We are adopting out of state, so we will have to stay there for 10 days up to 3 weeks after the baby is born. That's going to be hard, but obviously well worth it. We get to be in the delivery room and everything!
After over 3 1/2 years of ttc and 1 m/c, 1 ectopic, numerous failed ivfs, iuis, and fets and let's not forget the breast cancer, I'm finally going to realize my dream of having a baby!!!! It seems like it's all happening so fast even though I've been waiting for so long. We sent our paperwork in on March 3rd and got the call on May 20th....I always hoped we'd be one of those lucky couples who got chosen quickly and by golly we were!
My dh and I are going to meet the birthmom in June and go to her last u/s appointment with her. I can't wait to see our little sweetheart kicking away.
My twin sister is throwing me a baby shower, me a baby shower...with pink streamers and finger sandwiches!!!! Yeah!!!!
Thanks for always being there when I needed you all and I'll keep you posted when our little angel arrives!
