Hello,
I am new to the board. I was recently matched with a birth mother in Michigan and my agency told us that the baby can not be with us for the first two weeks. We expected that the baby would be able to stay in the hotel with us. She said the rules are related to the baby Jessica case.
I did a search and I can't find anything on this board or in google about people not being able to have their baby with them while they are waiting to go home. It is weird, there is so much info about the decision to adopt and after adopting but this stage feels like a big blank page.
Any info or experience shared would be most appreciated.
